Just when you think the whirlwind is over, it isn’t. On Black Friday we ran our first-ever promotional deal for Standard Theme and Live Theme and we’ve been getting requests from customers for another one since that time.
Then, a few weeks ago, we released Standard Theme 2.5 – our first major update to Standard Theme 2.0.
Yesterday, we migrated our entire community over to our new support system and we the paint is still fresh.
But Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so why stop now?
In honor of the current holiday (and because we’re such big fans of the 8BIT Community), we’ve launched a new site for tracking releases and updates for Standard Theme, a new child theme inspired by Tron, and a new promo.

The specifics:
- Use promo code: HeartStandardTheme
- The promo will run from February 9th to February 15th
- We’re including a free copy of the Tron-Inspired WordPress Theme with each copy of the Standard Theme through the promo (see it in action).
- We’re providing a minor update to Standard Theme. All updates are documented on our new releases page along with what files you should update (if you opt not to do a full installation)
Finally, remember to sign up for our affiliate program – all affiliates receive 50% of each sale!
Remember, nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day” like a discounted WordPress theme inspired by Tron!

If nothing says Valentine’s Day like the Tron Theme then it should be a great surprise for my wife
Finally, I’ve got the perfect gift. I’ll let you know later how she like it.
Any plans to make the Tron child theme available to existing support license users?
Yep – it’s already in the forums.
Trying to help somebody upgrade from standard license to support, and the link under “need an upgrade” goes directly to: http://standardtheme.com/upgrade-success/
Am I missing something?
Ben:
I’ve opened a help request ticket for this. Check your email, will help you there!
Chris
Fancy!
How long does it take to get that second email for support license users? I purchased, but no second email.
Dan:
Should be quick. I’ve opened a help request ticket for this. Check your email, I will help you there!
Chris
I’m so sorry that I’ve missed the promo.
Why don’t you guys have an email subscription service? I don’t use RSS Readers, it could be nice to catch such updates from you.
We’ve got a newsletter in the pipeline but haven’t had a chance to complete it yet – RSS and Twitter are the easiest ways to follow us for now.
Спс за инфо. Чего-то еще про это было узнать.
