Wow, what an incredible weekend! We’ve had a huge influx of activity and have been spending the weekend greeting new customers who are now getting their sweet publishing-on with Standard 3!
We’re so excited to have them on-board as well as seeing all the re-upped installations of some of our “hardcore” fans (yes, I believe we have a few groupies among us – they may even comment below outing themselves)!
There’s little time to rest and relax but I just want to remind you to not kill your entire week customization your new hot-off-the-press Standard WordPress Theme!
… but if you do I won’t say anything…! Although, it is the 4th of July week so you do have at least one day to mess around with it!
And if you do have a vacation planned we’d love to see you rep us! Do something creative and write a blog post showcasing your love for WordPress firstly and then Standard second!

Spent my weekend customizing. But it was worth it. It’s such an amazing upgrade on 2.0! I’m ok with it if I’m considered a groupie! Lol.

WordPress 3.4.1 is ideal for it but it supports 3.3. We’ll be killing support for it in one of the upcoming releases, though so don’t stay behind too long

Being that I’ve been coding it for the last 6 months… My work is finally done! Updated the blog yesterday, and what drew me here was the fact that I’m in the middle of writing a blog post about the redesign of my site. In said blog post I’ll be showing major love to the 8BIT crew!
One day I hope to work myself up to being a Standard Theme groupie… some day.
