Craftsmen

I like to think that we are craftsmen – consummate professionals who’s work is of the highest quality both in form and function. We love what we do because we really do care about the entire experience of building, touching, interfacing, and the art of learning our creative craft.

We’re not entirely sure if we chose the craft or the craft chose us – it’s all the same really. We hone our skills because we pursue the lost art of excellence – it is our trade, our livelihood, and our passion.

We are artisans – skilled laborers in a digital context and culture and we are what we build. If great food has a near-tangible piece of the master chef in every bite that is eaten then so are we to our 1′s and 0′s as people use them for purposes known and unknown. Their joy is our joy expressed.

And with sweat born from unadulterated emotion through our sweet labors of love; we launch. Then, we do it again, and with any luck we’ll do it again thereafter.

I live for this and so does my team.

When I'm not working with the best partners in the world I'm blogging like it's going out of style and coaching others because I love it. I love what I do and the people I get to do it with. I consider myself the luckiest man alive

  1. I agree 100%! I don’t know when the craft chose me (or God chose me) but I do know it is becoming more an more of a passion. A spiritual gift indeed, as the first mention of a spiritual gift was that of an artisan!

  2. John… this was oddly beautiful. It would have brought a tear to my eye had it not been for all the coffee I’ve been drinking this morning. ;)
