Above is what you’ll see when you first enter our new office space located in historic downtown Atlanta right off of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Peachtree Street.

The view is incredible as it overlooks Peachtree Street, Undeground Atlanta, the old Coke building, and more. With access to Marta a block away and great places to eat including yummy food trucks on Wednesdays next door it’s a perfect place for a growing startup to relocate to.

And we couldn’t be more pumped to move in, especially after hanging out here for the last year or so. The problem is that we’ve always brought our culture with us wherever we’ve gone and we’re going to have to spend a few weeks renovating, bringing in some demolition, and making it ours.

At this point I’ve walked the space 100 times, dreaming big and I simply can’t pace fast enough with where my mind goes with it all.

It’s going to be a place for us to work, live, and play. We also want it to be a place for our partners and friends to come and work too – even if just for a few hours or for a full work day. We’re going to have meetups, seminars, workshops, and we even may broadcast from the space as well.

It’s all up for grabs – a complete blank canvas. How often do you get one of those?

Just dreaming. Just dreaming.

If you had a blank canvas in a 2,700 sqft office space then what would you do with it? What would you bring in?

Tell us what you’d like to see when you visit!

  1. BANKSY on the walls!

  2. Whiteboards! A lot of them.

  3. Tons of Apple products and a spot for my butt to sit!

  4. Design your own custom murals for a few of the walls! Congrats on the space guys!

  5. All I can say is nice use of the Panoramic feature on your iPhone 5 :)

  6. This is your opportunity to build and develop the 8BIT culture in a physical world.

  7. NAPPING ROOM!

  8. Wow, you guys will be just around the corner from me. I’d love if there was a bi-weekly class or workshop I could come to or send referrals to where you go over setting up your blog after you’ve freshly installed the theme. Even if it was a recorded webinar I could watch that would be great. I’m a visual learner and sometimes reading through a forum isn’t as preferred as watching a video or live training. Also Frank Morrison paintings rock you can always put on of those on the wall.

  9. that place looks incredible. I would take a minimalist approach. Mad Starbucks k-cups, and a sick couch or two. Done and done. I might have to cop a plane ticket soon.

  10. Whatever it looks like in the end, we will have an open door policy and room for friends & like-minded sojourners. Count on that.

  11. Keep it open. and be sure to leave room for a nerf basketball court… that’s always been a dream of mine.

Congrats on the new space 8bit!

  12. An office is never complete without a full size Dynamo air hockey table!

  13. Looks great – I agree with the “lots of whiteboards” comment. You should check out this design tool my company offers to help you with the furniture / 3d dreaming: http://myturnstone.com/design/. I think Turnstone is a good cultural fit for 8bit.
